More Catching Up - Christmas 2011

We spent the Christmas holiday in Utah.   At the annual Wright family Christmas party, Emery and Lucy had a great time painting nails for all the ladies.  They were so cute and even made a couple of bucks to supplement their allowances.  We had a great time with family and friends and remembering those who are no longer with us on this earth.  We sure did miss Maggie, Keric, Boston, Melissa, Mark, Lily and Berkley and look forward to having them there next year.   We also missed Cami, Jeremy, Chloe and Mason and hope they are able to join us next year too.

Still Catching up - Fort Lauderdale

After the cruise, we spent another night with Kenny and then we headed to Ft. Lauderdale for a week.  Kenny and Tammy came down for a couple of nights.  While we were there, we went on the Jungle Queen for a cruise of the waterways in Ft. Lauderdale and saw a lot of really big homes and boats!!  We spent most of the time on the beach and just hanging out having a great time.

Catchup - Visit to Florida, Carribean Cruise

It's been quite a while since I last updated.  Therefore, I will try to remember to put in everything.  On November 30th, we left for our vacation.  We stayed Wed, Thurs, and Fri with Kenny in Rockledge.  Tammy was there and she sure is an awesome cook!!  I told her she can cook for me anytime.    Also, Kenney let us take a ride on his new Harley!!  What a rush.

On December 2nd, Mike and I left for our Carribean cruise with Chuck and Louise, Karen and Monte, Chuck's Mom, Una and his Dad, Ralph, Susan Taylor, Karen and Mike and their families, Frank and Sue Jackowski, Carol and Dan, Chuck's daughter Heather and her family.  I fell in love with Heather's daughter, Rianna, and asked here to come live with us in Mesquite.  She was willing, but her parents weren't, Go figure!!

We had an awesome time and visited Nassau - Bahamas, St. Thomas-Virgin Islands, and St. Martin. On St. Thomas we went on a catamarand for sightseeing and snorkling. It was so beautiful and we had the whole boat to ourselves. After the catamarand ride we spent a couple of hours at the beautiful Sugar Bay resort.

Our next stop was St. Martin.  We spent a few hours at Sunset Beach which is right across the street from the airport.  It is famous for the big jets that take off and the people who are crazy enough to stand on the beach behind the jet taking off.  When the jet takes off, they are blasted with sand and if the jet is big enough, it actually puts out enough wind that the people are blown down the beach into the water.  Quite entertaining.

One of the most memorable parts of being on the ship was that every night when we came back from dinner, our cabin steward had made and put a towel animal on our bed.  We also had a lot of fun playing trivia with everyone, going to comedy, going to the shows in the theater, and just hanging out with good friends.
